SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation, and I wanted to share some details of an opportunity that may be of interest to you.

We are looking for a Lead / Solution Architect SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud specialising in Order-to-Cash (O2C).

The role will involve acting as the client-side O2C functional lead, working closely with the SAP implementation partner, IT teams and business stakeholders. The focus will be on solution design, Fit-to-Standard, SAP Best Practices, integrations, data migration and ensuring the overall solution is aligned with the programme’s objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Challenging business requirements and the solutions proposed by the SAP integrator.
• Ensuring alignment with SAP Best Practices and Fit-to-Standard principles.
• Leading workshops with business, IT and programme stakeholders.
• Owning the end-to-end functional design of O2C processes.
• Reviewing configuration and validating detailed functional specifications.
• Defining the functional architecture for SAP and external system integrations.
• Overseeing APIs and SAP Integration Suite integrations.
• Supporting data migration from legacy systems, including Oracle PeopleSoft.
• Defining and executing functional/integration testing, including SIT and UAT.
• Supporting cutover, deployment and hypercare activities.

Profile:

• Senior SAP Functional Consultant / Solution Architect.
• Ideally 10+ years of SAP experience.
• Strong experience delivering S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience is essential.
• Strong O2C stream leadership or end-to-end functional architecture experience.
• Comfortable challenging an SAP integrator and defending key solution/design decisions.
• Strong understanding of SAP standard solutions and Fit-to-Standard.
• Excellent communication, workshop facilitation and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in an international environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

This is not an execution-focused SAP SD role. We are looking for someone who can take a broader architectural view, challenge design decisions and help drive the key functional and solution decisions across the programme.
