Project Context –
We are supporting a major SAP S/4HANA transformation program for the German subsidiary, the most important European entity in terms of revenue.
This engagement represents the Second Wave of the program, following Wave 1 (HQ + ~80 company codes), which is scheduled to go live in April 2026.
The German Wave 2 design phase will be fully aligned with the global template defined, built, and tested during Wave 1. The consultant will play a key role in ensuring template adherence while addressing country-specific requirements.

Role Overview
The Senior SAP Consultant will bring a strong combination of deep functional expertise and leadership experience, making them an ideal contributor to large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

The consultant will actively participate in the Design (BBP) phase, collaborating closely with client business teams, client IT, and the System Integrator (Accenture). While the System Integrator retains responsibility for the final solution design and build, the consultant is expected to proactively challenge, guide, and contribute to solution definition

• Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)

Key Responsibilities

• Participate actively in Design and BBP workshops
• Ensure coherence with the global S/4HANA template
• Act as a functional reference point for BIP and the client
• Engage with multiple stakeholders:
• Client Business teams
• Client IT
• System Integrator (Accenture)
• Proactively identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Support decision-making with best practices and prior SAP experience

Required Experience & Skills
Experience

• 10–12+ years of SAP experience
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA in the relevant functional area
• Strong background in Logistics, Supply Chain, Inbound/Outbound Distribution, depending on the stream

Industry Background

• Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) / Retail (mandatory)
• Manufacturing accepted as a secondary option
• Exclusions: Financial Services, Public Administration, Banking, Insurance, Utilities, Oil & Gas

Technology

• Extensive SAP S/4HANA experience (minimum 6 years)
• Strong knowledge of SAP best practices and template-based rollouts
